10 years ago I bought my younger brother Scrabble as a Christmas gift. Mind you, this was before the explosion of digital games, so I thought it was a great gift for him at the time. Fast forward to present day, and the game was sitting in my parent’s garage collecting dust and had never been opened. My brother who has since moved out and gone to college, could care less about Scrabble! Lucky for me, I decided to take back the gift and use it for décor and craft ideas.
Now, what to do with all the other letters that I have?
Here are 12 DIY Scrabble craft ideas that I think I will (try) to create in the near future:
1. Wine Charms
5. Scrabble Picture Frames
8. Scrabble Dishwasher Magnet
Something to consider when you are making Scrabble crafts: there are 144 tiles available in one Scrabble game or if you are looking for a particular letter a lot of antique or décor shops sell them by the letter. I know there are several shops in Downtown McKinney that sell them by the tile. If you are curious the letter make up in a game, here you go:
2: J, K, Q, X, Z
3: B, C, F, H, M, P, V, W, Y
6: D, S, U
9: T, R
